Shu-Xia Zhao was born in Hebei, China, in 1980. She received the B. S. degree in Physics from Hebei Normal University, China, in 2004. During 2004 and 2007, she continued to searching for a master’s degree in Hebei Normal University and mainly worked on the hybrid Particle-in-cell/Monte Carlo model for the direct current plate and hollow cathode discharges plasmas. After graduation from that university, she took the doctor entrance examination for Dalian University of Technology and begin to engaged on the E-H mode transitions of radio frequency inductively coupled discharges with a fluid model. At present, she has developed the pure fluid model into a hybrid fluid/Monte Carlo model. She has had two papers published respectively on the journals, Plasma Science and Technology and Journal of Applied Physics.
